Wawasee High School student-athlete , Kelsey Mark, has signed a Letter of Intent to continue her tennis career as a Forester this fall.
Mark was a four-year varsity player for the Warriors. As a freshman she played number 2 singles and earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors. She moved to number 1 singles as a sophomore and was named the team MVP. She also repeated as Honorable Mention All-Conference. During her junior year, Mark played the entire season at number 1 despite being injured. In her final campaign this spring, she is expected to be team captain and will again play in the number 1 singles' position.
Mark also excelled on the Wawasee golf team earning All-Conference honors and twice serving as team captain.
Mark, who is the daughter of Jon and Lori Mark, says, “I liked Huntington because it was small and seemed to be a good fit for me. It seemed like a good place for me to further my education as well as continue to play tennis." Mark plans to pursue a degree in education at HU.
