In recognizing Wickersham, Heller wrote, “I have had my office next to Professor Wickersham’s office for four years, giving me the chance to observe her interactions with her students. She is attentive, patient, and kind, and she works hard to help her students find and understand the solutions to their accounting problems. Professor Wickersham also deserves recognition for her current service as chair of the Department of Business, for her past service as the faculty secretary, for her current community service to her church (Central Christian Church) and to the community’s Shakespeare Club, for her general respect for the humanities, and for her general good-natured approach to life. It has been my pleasure to have Professor Wickersham as a colleague.”
