Choirs to gather for 'Choral Masterworks' concert

A 2006 ensemble concert featuring music composed by John Rutter included choirs from Ben Davis High School and Columbia City High School as well as the Children's Choir of Huntington County and the Huntington University Concert Choir with the Huntington University Orchestra.
Huntington, Ind.—The choirs of Huntington University, Huntington North High School, Ben Davis High School from Indianapolis, and the Huntington University Orchestra will be featured in an inspirational night of music titled “Choral Masterworks” on Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. The program will feature sacred choral literature by Beethoven, Brahms, Hand, Mozart and Schubert’s “Mass in G.” The concert will be held in the Merillat Centre for the Arts on the Huntington University campus.

For ticket information at the Merillat Centre for the Arts, call the box office at (260) 359-4261 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets will be $5 general admission and $3 for students, seniors and Huntington University faculty and staff.
