Huntington College students present classic Shakespeare “As You Like It” to be performed March 2-4

Huntington, Ind.— Huntington College Theatre will present Shakespeare's greatest pastoral comedy, As You Like It, March 2-4, on the main stage of the Merillat Centre for the Arts. Performances will begin nightly at 8 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, February 16. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. For reservations and further information, call the Huntington College Theatre Box Office at (260) 359-4275.

The performance will be directed by Dr. Joe Ricke, professor of English. “The play constitutes, I believe, Shakespeare's comic hymn to love and marriage, and features his greatest female character, Rosalind,” says Ricke.

Theatre performance and theatre design/technology are among many distinctive academic programs at Huntington College. Founded in 1897, the Christian liberal-arts college offers graduate and undergraduate degrees in nearly 50 academic concentrations. Huntington College is located on a contemporary campus just south of US 24 in Huntington, Indiana.
