Bachelor of Science in Accounting Degree will permit adult students to
better compete in the job market for the accounting jobs widely
available in this area.
The Professional Programs curriculum for this college degree is taught in
sequentially-ordered courses, meeting from 6 to 10 p.m. one evening per
week. Students entering a
bachelor's degree program are required to have earned 50 semester hours
of college credits prior to entering the program. Courses in the core
curriculum and elective courses are taken to complete the Bachelor of
Science degree requirements.
The Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting is a degree-completion
major comprised of 54 credit hours (128 credits) and focuses on how both
textbook knowledge and real-world experience apply in the business
world. Many of the professors are working certified public
accountants, thus giving our students an opportunity to discuss their
questions with individuals recognized as successful accountants.
