April Meyer won't be lacing up her cleats for another season as Captain of
the Forester softball team, but she doesn't plan on leaving just yet.
As a 2007 graduate, April is now in her second year participating at HU
in a different capacity. She is now on Team Admissions as an
admissions counselor to students in northern Indiana. As a student
April contributed to a number of other teams on campus: the
communication studies and ministry programs, SAB, JMC, Freshman Mentor
and CMC. Since April had such an amazing experience at HU she is
excited to have the opportunity to continue to contribute by helping
prospective students determine if this is the right university for them.
April
says, "This is an amazing place! I have learned and grown so much
as a direct result of my experiences here at HU. I am so glad this
is where the Lord led me. As an admissions counselor it is a
privilege to be a part of the journey as students determine if
Huntington is the right place for them. Although I have to admit,
I wish everyone could be a Forester!"
