It wasn’t long into his college career before Drew developed a
reputation for his late-night study habits. If it was past 1:00 AM, your
best bet to find him was to look in the library’s all-night study
lounge. It wasn’t a lack of motivation or procrastination that kept him
working through the early hours of the morning, but more his desire to
truly soak in the HU experience. For Drew, this meant striving hard
academically as well as being involved on campus as a Resident
Assistant, Student Senator, Student Admissions Staffer, Peer Tutor,
Investment Club President and Alpha Chi Treasurer. Although he may have
missed a few precious hours of sleep, getting involved in the HU
community had great benefits. You can still find Drew on campus, but
don’t go looking in the study lounge. He’s still enjoying what HU has to
offer next door in the admissions office.
Drew says:
“Don’t let college pass you by without taking advantage of the
opportunities it provides. Take the time to explore its possibilities,
find a couple of things you’re passionate about and run with them.”
