Semester after semester, Eric found himself taking full advantage of the
many opportunities for involvement both on campus and in the community.
Being a CMC, coordinating the HU math competition each semester,
volunteering with a local youth group, playing on all sorts of
intramural sports teams, coaching powderpuff football, and serving as
historian for Kappa Delta Pi are just some of these opportunities he
said “yes” to, on top of managing a math education major. Combine these
with a laid-back personality and an unreliable alarm clock, and you can
expect to see him occasionally sprinting around campus with a friendly
smile and wave on the way by!
Eric says:
“Though I gained somewhat of a reputation early in my college career for
being a few minutes late for things, I wouldn’t trade my experiences
here at HU for anything. The people I met, lessons I learned (i.e. time
management!), and experiences that made me who I am today far outweigh
any stressful schedule conflicts I had in college. I can’t wait to share
my experiences and lessons learned with anyone who is considering HU!”

If you asked me what my middle name was, I would say...
“…Nothing!” I don’t have a middle name… never have, never will. Yes,
I’m aware that my initials are “E.T.” and I’m prepared to deal with
it! |
