So, why did I end up at Huntington U, well, mainly because of the people. The folks here were friendlier than anywhere else I visited. I was also drawn to the Christ-centered atmosphere, the quick feedback from the admissions office, and the kindness of those with whom I interacted. Also, I just felt like God was calling me to come here. Finally, here's something I would tell all of you who are going to be freshmen in college--Don't get burned out! Regardless of how many course hours you carry, it is fairly easy to stay perpetually busy. I have learned that sometimes I just have to let something go--maybe say "NO" to something (which I hate to do)--and take some time to refuel, whether that be spending some time with God, a friend in the hall, or just relaxing (or sleeping!).
Well, that's all for
now...please come check us out on a campus visit. Maybe I'll even
get to meet you on your campus tour! |
