Alrighty,
you’ve made it to my page, so I guess I can start by telling you a
little about myself. I am a Biology Pre-Med major, and I hope to attend
medical school after I graduate from HU. My goal is to become a trauma
surgeon and hopefully, depending on where God leads me, to eventually
become a medical missionary in another country. I pretty much made up
my mind to come to HU when I stepped on campus for the first time. Not
only is it a beautiful campus with a great science program, but it is
also a place where I have been able to grow in my relationship with
Christ, while having fun at the same time.
Besides
being a member of SAS (Student Admissions Staff), I am also a lifeguard
at the MPERC and on SAB, which is our Student Activities Board. I’ve
been having a blast so far planning campus activities and getting to
know awesome new people. Despite all that I have on my plate, though, I
still find time to have fun by playing disc golf on our nine hole
course, watching Colts and Notre Dame football games, hanging out with
my friends, and of course “borrowing” the admissions golf cart every
chance that I get. Well, that’s about all I’ve got. |

One of my most
enjoyable experiences at HU...
has to be Olympiad from
last year. I really enjoyed all campus coming together for
four days of non-stop games.
As an incoming student...
time management is key. It may seem overwhelming at first,
especially on the first day of class, but if you stay organized and
balance your time, you can accomplish things and still enjoy some
free time. |
