Margaret Roush
Mrs. Margaret Roush began working at Huntington University in 1990 and became a part of the Advancement Office in 2002. As Director of Alumni Relations, Roush leads all alumni relations efforts and provides direction for the annual homecoming events, regional gatherings, and special fund-raising campaigns and projects. Roush also pens an article for each issue of Huntington University Magazine. Roush says that among the many benefits of working at Huntington University, she most cherishes building relationships with people of all ages across the United States and beyond. Background: It was a visit to the then-newly constructed Merillat Centre for the Arts that brought Roush to work at Huntington. After touring the building with her mother-in-law, Roush decided Huntington was where she was supposed to be. Prior to coming to HU, Roush formed and co-owned her own business, Yankee Peddler, Inc., for six years. Outside Interests: Outside of work, Roush is involved in community service, having served as vice president of the Tourism Commission, as past president and current member of the Huntington Kiwanis, and as a member of the LaFontaine Arts Councils Board and Huntington Chamber of Commerce Board. She also enjoys the arts, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. |
