Recommended vs. Required Systems
The recommended systems are NOT required for the Digital Media Arts program.  They are provided as guides for your purchase of Apple hardware/software.  The systems are configured for the minimum requirements needed to achieve average system performance for running software to edit audio, video, work with animation, and author DVDs. The University provides DMA lab computers with software needed for DMA course requirements for use by students enrolled in DMA courses.

Apple Store purchases for non-DMA students
You do not need to be a Digital Media Arts student to purchase a DMA recommended system.  Only the recommended systems for the Digital Media Arts program receive additional discounts.  All other items receive the standard educational pricing.  You may continue using the custom HU Apple Store, or you may wish to use the standard Apple Store for Education
