The Forester bowling teams stayed in the Midwest on Saturday to compete in the AC Open at Lenawee Recreation Center in Adrian (Mich.) where the women claimed 3rd and the men took 4th.

On Saturday, November 15, Huntington University will induct two individuals, Adam Hill and Chase Verba, and one team, the 1988 volleyball team, into the Forester Athletic Hall of Fame.

For the fourth consecutive year, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that Huntington University has been named a recipient of the Champions of Character Five Star Award for the 2013-14 school year.

Bowling six regular team games on Saturday and 24 Baker games on Sunday, the Forester women’s bowling of Ayla Yeiter, Brooke Ewing, Rachel Vogler, Lauren Smart, Emerald Leong, Shelby New, and Emily O’Leary team finished 5th in a Tier I event this weekend at the Brunswick Southern Collegiate Classic held at the Brunswick Zone in Marietta, GA.

For the second consecutive tournament, the Forester women’s bowling team finished in the top three by claiming 3rd out of 21 teams at the Tier II Boilermaker Classic at Mike Aulby’s Arrowhead Bowl over the weekend.

In what has become one of the largest Tier II tournaments in the country this year, the Forester women’s bowling team went head-to-head against some of the best teams in the nation to finish 3rd out of 26 varsity teams at the Western Shootout this weekend.

In their first Tier I tournament of the season, the Forester bowling teams made the first ever trip to the Midwest Collegiate Championships this weekend at AMF Bowlero.

The HU bowling teams opened up their season this weekend at the Ball State University Cardinal Classic at Munsee Lanes where the women finished second for the second straight year and the men claimed fourth.

Off to nationals again and againWith the books closed on another year of Huntington University athletics, the Foresters had plenty to celebrate as half of HU’s 16 teams were represented at 10 different NAIA National Tournaments.

The Crossroads League would like to announce that Lori Culler of Huntington University has been named Athletic Director of the Year. The Athletic Director of the Year is voted upon by the AD's in the Crossroads League.
