Playing in a five-team invitational hosted by Taylor University at Purdue University’s Kampen GC in West Lafayatte on April 22-23, the Forester golf team posted a 611 to finish second.

It was a rough start to the 2013 Crossroads League Golf Championships for the Foresters as they found themselves 42 strokes out of first after day one at Orchard Ridge Country Club in Fort Wayne.

The Huntington golf team shot a 619 (307, 312) to finish in a tie for third with Taylor University at the Bethel College Pilot Invitational at Blackthorn Golf Club in South Bend this past weekend.

For the second consecutive year, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that Huntington University has been named a recipient of the Champions of Character Five Star Award for the 2011-12 school year.

The Forester golf team was a picture of consistency as they shot a 311 both rounds of the NAIA Midwest Fall Classic to finish sixth out of 19 teams with a team total of 622.

After shooting a 308 on day one of the University of Saint Francis Fall Invitational at Cherry Hill Golf Club, the Forester golf team held their spot by carding a 311 in second round action at Autumn Ridge Golf Club to bring home a fourth place finish out of 13 teams.
