It was a dreary, breezy day at Rim Rock Farm for the 35th Annual NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Championships on Saturday where HU juniors Krista Wood and Hannah Moore competed as two of 84 individual qualifiers.

The NAIA national office announced last week the team and individual qualifiers for the 2014 NAIA Cross Country National Championships and among the list of individual qualifiers are Huntington University juniors Hannah Moore and Krista Wood.

On Saturday, November 15, Huntington University will induct two individuals, Adam Hill and Chase Verba, and one team, the 1988 volleyball team, into the Forester Athletic Hall of Fame.

The Forester women’s cross country team made it clear they’re deserving of the national attention they’re receiving by finishing 3rd out of 43 teams at the #JennaStrong Fall Classic hosted by Wilmington College.

The #RV Forester women’s cross country team claimed the top five spots at the Grace College Invitational to bring home their third title of the season. It also marks the third time in four years that HU has won the Lancer Invitational.

Competing against a host of other Hoosier schools at the annual Indiana Intercollegiate Little State on the campus of Purdue University Friday afternoon, the Huntington women’s cross country team finished 4th amidst a field of 20 teams while the Forester men claimed 11th out of 20 teams.
