Twenty Huntington University students-athletes have been inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma honor society for 2013. This national college athlete honor society recognizes student-athletes who excel in athletics and academics.

Vlad Khudziy posted HU’s only win of the day at No. 1 singles by beating Vitaly Shumilov in a three-set dandy, 3-6, 6-3 (10-5), as #24 Davenport University rolled on to a 8-1 win over the Forester men’s tennis team Friday afternoon at the MVP SportsPlex in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The Forester men’s tennis team collected its third win this spring with a 7-2 decision over Indiana Tech on Friday at Klopfenstien Courts.

Playing its best tennis of the year, 4th-seeded Spring Arbor University knocked 5th-seeded Huntington University out of postseason play with a 7-2 win over the Foresters in first round action of the Crossroads League Tournament Tuesday afternoon.

The Huntington men’s tennis team (5-6) ended the regular season portion of their fall schedule on a high note by dominating Indiana Tech 6-3 Saturday morning and will look to carry this momentum into postseason play.
