3.18.04 - A very talented Grand View College squad was too much for the Foresters to handle routing HC 10-4 and 18-0 in a doubleheader at Daytona Beach, Florida. In game one, both teams scored one run in their first at-bat, but the Vikings added four more in the both the second and third innings to put the game out of HC's reach. Aaron Klopfenstein (1-2) took the loss for the Foresters, going just two innings and giving up nine runs on nine hits and no walks. Time Burris and Andy Janzen each had a pair of hits to lead HC. Greg Slee batted in a team-high two runs. In the nightcap, Grand View's pitching dominated the Foresters shutting them out and allowing just two hits in the game. Joel Kennedy (1-2) gave up seven runs off nine hits in two innings of work to take the loss. With the losses, the Foresters fall to 3-7 on the season.
