4.6.04 - Although the Anderson University Ravens scored in every inning but the last, the Foresters used key hits in a few big innings to pick up the 13-10 win.  Down 2-0 after two innings, HC combined two singles by Greg Slee and Brian Porter with two walks, two passed balls and a hit batsman to take a 4-2 lead in the top of the third, but the Ravens answered with two in their half of the inning to knot the score at 4-4.  With two outs in the top of the fourth, Tim Burris and Slee got back to back singles and Marc Roth sent one deep to help the Foresters re-gain the lead.  Anderson got one back in the bottom of the fourth and added three more their half of the fifth to take the lead back at 8-7.  HC responded immediately in the top of the sixth beginning with lead off hitter, Jeremy Rodibaugh, getting hit by a pitch.  The Foresters then strung together five consecutive hits, including a RBI double by Slee, a two-run double by Roth, and a RBI single by Steve Orth, before the Ravens could get an out in the inning.  A Ryan Finn sacrifice fly and another single by Levi Sell completed the scoring and gave HC a 13-8 lead.  The Ravens rallied for two more in the bottom of the sixth, but Burris took the mound in the bottom of the seventh for HC and shut down the Ravens to pick up his first save of the season.  Slee finished the game with a team-high four hits and Roth had a team-leading five RBI.  Aaron Klopfenstein (2-3) got the win for the Foresters, going five innings and giving up eight runs, five earned, on seven hits and two walks while striking out two.  The win raises the Foresters to 9-11 on the season.
