04.29.05 - Tim Burris and Levi Sell both pitched complete games to help lead the Foresters to the doubleheader sweep of the University of St. Francis, winning 5-3 and 4-2.

In the first game, Burris (3-3), who went the distance for the first time this season, gave up three runs, two earned, on five hits and one walk while striking out four.  HC did all of its scoring in the first two innings with one in the first and four in the second.  The Cougars got one each of their first two at-bats and then added one in the fourth before Burris put the clamps on them.  Andy Janzen led the Foresters with two hits in the game and Burris helped himself with two RBI.

In game two, Sell (4-0) gave up both runs in the first and then settled down.  He dominated the Cougars the rest of the way, allowing a total of four hits and one walk in the game.  He also struck out five on his way to earning his second complete game of the season and keeping his undefeated record in tact.  St. Francis held a 2-1 lead after an inning of play, but the Foresters got three runs in the fourth to put the game out of reach.  Brian Porter had two hits in the game for HC including a solo homerun in the first and a single to get things started in the fourth.

The two wins keep the Foresters in the hunt for a berth in the MCC tournament.  They now stand 17-19 on the season and 12-8 in conference play.
