03.13.07 - In an effort to get ready for MCC play, the Foresters have intentionally beefed up their early season schedule. After playing three games last week against NAIA 14th-ranked Campbellsville, HU next headed to NCAA Division I Butler University. The Bulldogs took it to the Foresters early and often to post the 18-0 win over HU.

Butler scored six in their first at-bat and added four more over the next four innings before scoring six more in the sixth to leave no doubt about the outcome.

The Foresters had seven hits in the game and left seven on base, but just couldn't put enough offense together to get on the scoreboard.

Michael Dalton (0-2) took the loss for HU. He gave up six runs on four hits and three walks while striking out one. The loss drops the Foresters to 2-5 on the season.
