03.08.07 - The Foresters (2-2) used some timely hitting and solid pitching to up-end #14-ranked Campbellsville University (11-2) 8-4 on the road.

HU took a 2-0 lead in the top of the second on a two-run triple from Levi Sell, then broke the game open with five more in the third.  The Foresters hit for the cycle to plate the handful of runs.  Andrew Drummond had a RBI single, Korey Grow drove in a run with a double, Alex Rinearson belted a run-scoring triple and Zach Crooks completed the cycle with a two-run dinger.

Campbellsville put one on the scoreboard in the bottom of the fourth, but the Foresters got it back in the sixth to make it 8-1.  The Tigers added one in the seventh and came up with two in the bottom of the ninth before Drew Taylor (2-0) shut the door on the rally.

"Campbellsville is a top-15 team in the country, so we feel fortunate to be able to get a win on the road," said Coach Frame.  "We had some big hits, struggled defensively again, but got another good outing from Drew."

Taylor went the distance in the win, giving up four runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out two.  Austan Kas led the Forester offense with two hits and Sell and Crooks both had a team-high two runs batted in.
