03.28.08 - The Foresters made it a series sweep by taking a second doubleheader from Grace College 7-3 and 7-1.

In the opener, HU hurler Michael Dalton took a shutout into the seventh inning before giving up three runs in Grace's final at-bat.  Dalton improved to 4-1 on the season with the complete game victory.  He gave up three runs on six hits and a walk while striking out three.

The Foresters took a 1-0 lead in the second and added a pair in the fourth, sixth and seventh innings to put the game away.  Alex Rinearson and Adam Farris both had two hits in the game including a double.  Zach Crooks led HU with two RBI.

In the nightcap with the scored tied 1-1, the Foresters put five on the board with two outs in the inning.  Farris got things started with a single and Andrew Drummond knocked him in with a gapper to right-center.  Two walks and a hit-by-pitch later, Austan Kas delivered the big blow with a three-run double down the leftfield line.  HU added one more in the seventh to earn the series sweep.

Drew Taylor (1-3) pitched a complete game for the win.  He allowed one run on four hits and he struck out four.  Thad Frame was the lone Forester with two hits in the contest.
