04.19.08 - After winning game one 4-3, the Foresters had their 10-game home winning streak snapped with a 9-3 loss to Indiana Wesleyan University.

HU (23-11, 18-5) held an early 3-2 lead over the Wildcats in the opener, but Indiana Wesleyan knotted things up with a run in the fourth. In the bottom of the fifth, Korey Grow broke the tie with his fourth homerun of the season, a solo shot to left field.

Drew Taylor came on in relief of starter Eric Randel in the sixth with two outs and a runner on second.  Taylor got the first batter he faced to fly out to center to get out of the inning unscathed. Taylor then recorded all three outs in the top of the seventh to pick up his first save of the season.  Randel (7-1) earned the win for HU.  He allowed three runs on six hits and a walk in five and two-thirds innings.

Six different players had a hit for the Foresters.  Adam Farris and Grow each had extra bases with a double and homerun respectively.

In game two, the Wildcats scored in each of their first four at-bats to take an 8-3 lead and they added one more in the sixth.  Indiana Wesleyan out-hit the Foresters 12-5 in the game.  Austan Kas had two of the five hits. Two of HU's three runs came in the fourth inning on a two-run round-tripper by Keith Benbow, his second on the year.

Trent Huffman (4-1) fell for the first time for the Foresters on the mound.  He allowed five runs on five hits and he struck out one in three innings of work.
