04.03.08 - The Foresters continued to roll in conference play with two more wins 4-0 and 9-3 over Goshen College. With the victories, HU moves to 14-7 on the season and 9-1 in the MCC.

Forester hurler Eric Randel (4-1) pitched a five-hit shutout for the win in the opener.  He also struck out four and didn't give up a walk.  HU got all the offense it would need with a pair of runs in the fourth and then added two more insurance runs in the fifth.  Andrew Drummond was a perfect 3-3 at the plate including a double for the Foresters.

In the nightcap, HU plated three in the top of the second.  Goshen got two back in their half of the inning, but the Foresters took control of the game with four more in the third.  The two teams traded a run in the fifth and the Foresters added a final run in the sixth for the 9-3 victory.

Trent Huffman remained unbeaten on the mound at 3-0 on the season.  He went the distance and allowed three runs on just three hits and five walks while striking out seven.  Drummond, Adam Farris, Edwin Rodriguez and Ryan Shell each had two hits in the game with Shell leading the team with four RBI.
