Huntington
University has announced that Greenfield-Central High School grad
Cody Richey has
committed to play baseball at HU this fall. During his senior year,
the infielder hit .391 with three home runs and 13 RBI. He also
scored 30 runs and stole seven bases.
“Cody is a great athlete who will make an immediate
impact for us,” says head baseball coach Mike Frame. “He runs well
and has good arm strength. We will look at him in the middle of the
infield initially, but he is athletic enough to make an impact in
other areas. He is a great addition to our 2008 recruiting class”
Huntington University is a member of the Mid-Central College
