08.20.08 -  Huntington University has announced that Eastbrook High School grad Jimmy Michael will join Coach Frame's incoming class of 2008. AS a senior outfielder, Michael hit .347 with six home runs and 26 RBI. He scored 21 runs and stole 4 bases.  

“We are excited that Jimmy has decided to continue his career at Huntington,” says head baseball coach Mike Frame. “He is a good athlete with good upper body strength. We look forward to the impact he will have on Forester baseball.”

Huntington University is a member of the Mid-Central College Conference (MCC) and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).  On the baseball field, HU has captured the MCC regular season championship or conference tournament championship 27 times in 48 years.  In 2008 HU finished 32-14 which included a MCC tournament championship. The Foresters have also had eight former players go on to careers in professional baseball, including Heath Luther with the Anaheim Angels in 2001 and Greg Slee with the Seattle Mariners in 2004.  

Huntington University is a Christian liberal arts college located in Huntington, IN, with an enrollment of approximately 1100 students.  Athletically, HU competes in fourteen intercollegiate sports for both men and women. 

Vince is the son of Dennis and Faith Moore of Noblesville, IN.
