03.17.09 - The Foresters used a five-run sixth to put some distance between themselves and William Woods and finished with the 7-1 victory to move to 5-7 on the season.

HU pushed one across in the first and it was the only scoring done throughout the first five and a half innings. In the bottom of the sixth, Andrew Drummond led off with a single and Edwin Rodriguez drove him in with a double to left. Chris Menzie entered as a pinch runner for Rodriguez and scored when Vince Moore doubled to center.  After Jarod Hammel was hit by a pitch, Ryan Shell delivered the knockout punch with a 3 run homerun to left.

The Foresters added another insurance run in the seventh and limited William Woods to one in the top of the eighth to earn the 7-1 victory.

Anthony Roth picked up the win for HU.  He gave up one run on five hits and three walks while striking out seven.  Rodriguez went 3-4 at the plate to lead the Foresters and he added three RBI.
