04.18.09 - After dropping a pair of games on the road to Bethel College, the Foresters hoped to even the series with two victories at Forest Glen Park, but finished with a split winning game one 3-2 and falling 10-5 in game two.

In the opener, the two teams traded a run in the first inning and the score remained tied until the Pilots scored in the top of the sixth. HU drove in a run in the bottom of the seventh to tie it, then scored the game winner in the eighth for the final 3-2 margin.

Travis Frantz come on in relief of starter Eric Randel in the eighth to pick up the win. In seven innings of work, Randel allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out two.  Frantz also led the Foresters at the plate with a 2-3 performance that included a double and an RBI.

In the nightcap, the Pilots scored nine runs over the first four innings and tacked on another one late to spoil HU's sweep.  Eric Harpring took the loss for the Foresters.  He gave up six runs on four hits, four walks and a strikeout in 1 2/3 innings.  At the plate, Andrew Drummond was 2-4 with a double and a run batted in.
