Anita Carvajal: Anita is a freshman from Willshire, OH.
She has 12 years of cheerleading experience. Anita is
determined, energetic, loud and committed. She wants to be an
example so she can change the reputation of what people cheerleaders
do. She believes attitude is very important. It can make
or break the squad. Anita is involved with her youth group
activities, JMC and Alpha Gamma Pi. She will be this year's team
devotional leader.

| Lauren Funicelli: Lauren is a
sophomore from Chambersburg, PA. Some of her hobbies
include running, singing, shopping and scrap booking.
Her major is Broadcasting. Lauren doesn't have that
much cheerleading experience but is excited to get back
involved. We are excited to have Lauren with us.
She will do a great job! |
| Tina Gingrasso:
Tina is a freshman from
Portland, IN. She has never done cheerleading before
but says she is willing to try anything and has lots of team
spirit. She tumbled when she was younger and is hoping
to try it again. Tina is working to be a flyer and a
base for the HU squad. We are glad to have her with
us. |
| Stephanie Habegger: Stephanie is a
freshman from Berne, IN. She has two years of cheer
experience. She says she is loud and likes to have
fun. Stephanie feels her experience and smile are what
she can bring to the cheer squad. She will be a base
this year. Stephanie will be a big addition to the
squad. |
| Ashley Lamb: Ashley is a
sophomore from Decatur, IN. She cheered at Belmont
Middle School. Ashley is willing to do whatever it
takes to get things done. She is enthusiastic and
excited to get out on the floor. Ashley helps lead
worship for Hardy Hall. She also works in the HU Annex
as a student switchboard operator. She thinks face
painting and dressing up would be a great way to get the
crowd into games. Ashley says rules provide structure
and they set boundaries. We are glad to have Ashley on
the squad. |
| Bethany Lynch:
Bethany
is a senior from Covington, IN. She has twelve years of
cheerleading experience. Bethany is a Youth Ministry Major
and is involved in JMC. She is fun, enthusiastic, encouraging has
lots of experience. She wants to coach someday.
Bethany has lots of spirit ideas. She likes to
shop, ski, scrapbook, watch movies and shop for fun.
Bethany does a great job and we are excited to have her back
for her fourth year. She will be one of the captains
for this years squad. |
| Cassie Screeton: Cassie is a
freshman from Rochester, IN. She has 6 years of
cheerleading experience. She has been a UCA All-Star
for five years. Cassie says she will be integrating
her faith into the HU Cheerleading program by setting a
Christian example. She feels she will help the squad
because she is a hard worker and gets along with everyone.
Cassie says decorating locker rooms, throwing spirit balls,
etc. into the crowd at games is what makes cheerleading fun.
Cassie will be a flyer for our squad. She has a great
personality and we are excited to see her grow. |
| Tiffany Seiter:
Tiffany is a senior from Ashland, OH. She has a great
deal of cheerleading and gymnastic experience. She is
majoring in Broadcasting and Digital Film Studies. She
loves singing, making movies and hanging out with her
friends in her free time. Tiffany will be basing and
flying for the upcoming year She did a great job last
year will be a captain for the upcoming year. She
is a big part of our squad! |
| Kelci VanDam: Kelci is a freshman
from Muncie, IN. She cheered in middle school and high
school. She says she will bring lots of spirit
ideas to get funs pumped up for games. Kelci says
positive attitude and rules are very important. One of
Kelci's strengths will be her jumps. She will also be
a base for the squad. We are looking forward to seeing
her grow over the years. |

LIFTERS:

| Jon Birkey: Jon is a junior from
Bunker Hill, IN. This is Jon's second year being on
the HU Cheer squad. He was not able to do it last year
but is excited to get involved again this year. Jon
has lots of ideas that will make him a great lifter.
Jon is a CMC and plans to integrate his faith in several
areas of cheerleading. Jon hopes to be tumbling
out on the floor this year. He wants to make
cheerleading fun but also fun! Jon is a huge part of
the squad! |

Matt Friedlund: Matt is a freshman from Kutztown, PA.
Matt decided to participate in cheerleading for the learning
experience. He brings enthusiasm, hard work and dedication to
the squad. You will see Matt doing some gymnastics at the games.
He is fun to be around and will do a great job for this year's squad.

Andrew Goodwin: Andrew is a freshman from Ft. Wayne, IN.
He says being a lifter is a new challenge for him. He says getting
involved with the cheer squad will be also be a learning experience.
Andrew will be very helpful to this years squad and we are extremely
happy he is with us! |
