10.01.05 - The Foresters hosted their fifth annual E. DeWitt Baker Invitational on Homecoming weekend. The men put four runners in the top ten to continue their strangle hold on the Invitational title, winning with a team score of 37.  Cody Hannie paced HU with a third place finish in 27:06 and Nick Johnson was ten seconds behind in fourth place.  David St. Louis finished ninth in 28:01 with Dan Lindbloom and Alex Milentis right behind him in tenth and eleventh place respectively.  Taylor finished second behind HU with a score of 47.  St. Joseph's was third (64) followed by St. Francis (94) and Grace (112).

The women had a strong second place finish with three harriers in the top ten.  Taylor won the event with 33 points followed by HU (44), St. Joseph's (77), Grace (78), and St. Francis (113).  Molly Andrews ran to a third place finish with a time of 20:05 and Emily Sealscott was right on her heels in fourth with a time of 20:07.  Jill Roughia was the Foresters' other top ten finisher with her eighth place finish in 20:53.  Shelly Chaffin (14th, 21:11) and Vanessa Macias (15th 21:13) were HU's other two scorers.
