- The men and women's cross country teams traveled to Minnesota to compete in
the Roy Griak Invitational. The women finished 20 of 24 teams and the
men were 24th in a field of 43.
In the women's 6K race, Molly Andrews paced HU
with a 100th place finish in 25:33. Emily Sealscott ran second for the
Foresters with a 112th place finish in 26:00. Jill Roughia finished 120th
with a time of 26:12, Vanessa Macias was 122nd in 26:21, and Shelly Chaffin
finished 125th in 26:25. The University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse won the
event with 60 points.
In men's action, Nick Johnson was the top
runner for HU, finishing 81st in 27:16. Cody Hannie crossed in 28:02
for 136th place. Alex Milentis was
159th in 28:19, David St. Louis finished 172nd in 28:27, and Dan Lindbloom
was 181st. The University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse completed the sweep
with the men claiming the men's title with a score of 80.
