The Forester men’s
cross country team finished fourth of 12 teams at the Hanover College
Invitational.
Ohio
Northern won the team title with a score of 30 while second through fourth
places were separated by just five points. Baldwin Wallace was the runner-up
with a score of 97, Rose Hulman was third at 100 and the Foresters were
fourth with 102 points.
Joseph
Njeri paced the Foresters with a third place finish in 26:55. Dan Lindbloom
finished 17th with a time of 27:53 followed by Luke Diehl (26th,
28:28), Nick Johnson (27th, 28:29), Michael Lehman (35th,
28:44), Luke Andrews (75th, 30:20), Nick Hindes (94th,
31:22) and Dave Boyer (122nd, 33:49).
The
women didn’t field a complete team, but still had four runners participate.
Jill Roughia was HU’s top runner finishing in 39th place with a
time of 21:34. Michelle Kyler was 54th in 22:14, Bradie Vance was
62nd in 22:43 and Ali Shideler was 68th in 22:58. |
