08.29.08 - The Foresters competed in the Goshen College Hokum Karem with the men winning the event and the women finishing third.  

HU won the men's race with a score of 7, followed by Manchester (18), Goshen (27) and Trine (33).  Running in two-person teams over a ten-mile course, HU’s Nick Johnson and Alec Rosario won the event with a combined time of 50:51. They were followed closely by Foresters Joseph Njeri and Joseph Herber with a time of 50:52.  Dan Lindloom and Luke Diehl were fourth in 51:20 and Luke Andrews and Josh Barnett were 12th in 55:58.

On the women's side, Manchester took top honors with a score of 13 followed by Goshen (22), HU (24) and Trine (29).  Jill Roughia and Krystal McHenry paced the Foresters with a fifth place finish over the six-mile course in 39:02. Michelle Kyler and Britley McConnell were eighth in 40:54.  Bradie Vance and Molly Shirey finished 11th in 43:02 and Joanna Stebing and Sarah Krzynowek placed 17th with a time of 47:15.
