05.25.06 - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its national honors for golf and tennis for the 2005-06 season and five Huntington University athletes earned NAIA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors.  Men’s golfers Dan Knuth (Berne, Ind.), Wes Knuth (Berne, Ind.) and Andrew Porterfield (Marion, Ind.), women's tennis player Rachael Boersma (Grand Rapids, Mich.), and men's tennis player Brandon Curtis (Plymouth, Ind.) were honored for their academic and athletic achievements.  All such honorees are either a junior or senior academically, carry a 3.5 or above cumulative grade point average, and excel in their given sport.
