Windy and rainy conditions hampered the Foresters’ performance at the
“Rumble at the Rock” golf match as they posted a team score of 324 for
a sixth place finish. Marian won the event held at Rock Hollow Golf
Club with a 305 followed by Bethel (309), Aquinas (310), Spring Arbor
and Cornerstone (321), HU (324), Marian “B” team (326), Indiana
Wesleyan (327), Siena Heights (334), Taylor (340), and St. Francis
(363).
HU
freshman Justin Imel shot a 77 to finish in a tie for eighth in the
individual standings. Andrew Porterfield finished with an 80. Wes
Knuth shot an 83 and Dan Knuth added an 84 for the Foresters.
The Foresters now stand at 14-14 on the
