Playing in his
second Indiana Open held at Stonehenge Golf Club in Warsaw, Indiana, Schownir shot an 86 in his opening round and
followed it up with an 82 for a two-day total of 168. "I was
very disappointed," said Schownir, "but I did I learn a few lessons
that will hopefully help me in the future." Schownir missed the
cut, which was at 152, and finished tied for 145th. "Maybe I’ll
play in more tournaments next year to feel better prepared. Still, it
was an honor to be there."
Alan Schulte, head
golf professional at the Hawthorn’s Golf and Country Club in Fishers,
won the event with a 10 under par. |
