09.21.06 - Sophomore Justin Imel shot a 73 at Walnut Creek Golf Club to lead the Foresters to a second place finish in the Taylor University Invitational. The University of Indianapolis won the event with a 298 followed by HU (307), Indiana Wesleyan (315), St. Francis (323), Taylor (327) and Grace (342).

Spencer Batt and Jeff McVicker joined Imel with rounds in the 70s with both shooting a 77.  Patrick Davis added an 80 to round out the scoring for the Foresters.  Ryan Bonner shot an 82 and Dan Schroeder had an 84.

"I've seen steady improvement from Justin all season," said Coach Green.  "He put a nice round together with his 73.  It was great to see Jeff bounce back with a good score today too."

The men's record now stands at 13-28-3 on the season.
