04.12.08 - The Foresters battled some tough weather conditions to finish third at the University of St. Francis Invitational held at Noble Hawks Golf Course in Kendallville, Indiana.

Davenport won the event with a 623 followed Indiana Tech (634), HU (636), Cornerstone (639), Madonna (655), St. Francis (661) and Aquinas (680). Siena Heights and Concordia didn't play Saturday's round.

Cory Powell finished sixth overall with a 155 (80, 75) to lead the Foresters.  Ryan Bonner shot a 157 (80, 77). Spencer Batt (81, 82) and Justin McMillan (74, 89) both had 163 and Dan Schroeder shot a 173 (86, 87).

"The weather on Saturday was miserable for everyone,” said Coach Green.  “We're just not all clicking together yet, but we're getting close.  We seem to have a couple guys play well on one day, and then a couple different guys play well the next day."
