09.10.07 - Freshman Justin McMillen fired a two-under-par 70 to lead the Foresters to a win at the Jon P. Spiess Memorial Classic held in Wauseon, Ohio. McMillen was tied with Spring Arbor's Kris Bradshaw after 18 holes but then won the second hole of the playoff to take medalist honors.

Dan Schroeder, a late addition to the Forester lineup because a teammate fell ill, stepped in and had a career day, shooting a one under 71 on the day.  Other scores for HU included Ryan Bonner's 74, Cory Powell's 75 and Spencer Batt's 82.

"This team is very excited about how they are playing right now," said Coach Green.  "We have a lot of depth from top to bottom, great leadership from our junior class, and freshmen who are contributing at a very high level."
