04.18.08 - Jordan Dawes, a product of Wawasee High School, has signed a letter of intent to play golf at Huntington University next year.  Leading up to his senior year this spring, Dawes has twice been an All-Northern Lakes Conference selection and was Honorable Mention on a third occasion.

During his freshman and sophomore campaigns, Dawes helped lead the Warriors to conference championships both years and a sixth place finish in the State Tournament his sophomore season.  As team captain his junior year, Dawes and the Warriors qualified for the IHSAA Regional Tournament and are currently ranked 3rd in the Indiana High School Golf Coaches Association (IHSGCA) latest poll.

Huntington University golf coach, Mark Green, is looking forward to Dawes' contributions.  "I am extremely excited that Jordan will be joining us this fall,” said Green.  “He comes from a top-notch high school program and will have an opportunity to contribute right away as a freshman.  Jordan is a great fit for our Huntington golf program.
