While losing
four seniors from last year's squad that won the MCC conference and
earned a bid to the NAIA National Tournament may have all the
makings of a rebuilding year, Coach Green is optimistic about a
repeat season. Leading the way will be junior Cory Powell and
sophomore Jordan Dawes, an MCC All-Conference pick.
With the addition of four talented newcomers, Mickey Belt
(Monticello, IN), Trey Stoll (Rochester, IN), Josh Teulker (Wabash,
IN) and Matt Wilson (Fort Wayne, IN), the squad appears poised ready
for the challenge of defending their conference title.
“I am very excited to see
what this season has in store for our golf team," said Coach Green.
"We have four new players that will step in a contribute right away
and I am confident that we will still have a very competitive team.”
