Competing in its first meet of the year, HU finished fourth at the
Malone University Fall Classic. The Foresters shot a 302 both days
to finish with a 604. Having lost five seniors from last year’s
squad, the young Forester team was paced by freshman Trey Stoll who
recorded a fifth place finish by shooting an even par 144. Freshman
Josh Teulker shot a 151 to earn him a 15th place finish
followed closely by Freshman Matt Wilson who placed 17th
with a 152. Rounding out the scoring was 22nd place
finisher sophomore Jordan Dawes who shot a 154, junior Cory Powell
with a 157 and freshman Mickey Belt with a 158. The Foresters will
play in the Bethel College Invitational this coming weekend.
