1.15.05 - The Foresters rallied from a three-point half-time deficit to rout the Bethel College Pilots 83-66.  The win gives the 8th-ranked Foresters a 7-1record in the MCC and sole ownership of first place at the mid-point of the conference schedule.  HC jumped out to an early lead and had a nine-point advantage at 23-14 midway through the first half, but Bethel used its defense to fight back and take a 36-33 lead at the break.  Having re-focused in the locker room, the Foresters emerged and took command of the game with a 30-4 run over the first eight minutes.  During the stretch, HC scored on each of its 14 possessions by hitting its first attempt or rebounding each miss and scoring on second chance points.  Alex Kock scored 14 of his game and career-high 36 points to lead the Forester blitz.  The Pilots made one last run at HC to get back within nine at 75-66 with 1:51 to play, but Kock scored six of the Foresters' final eight points, including 4-4 from the line to keep the Pilots at bay.  Joining Kock in double figures for HC was Kyle Ganton with 15, and Chase Verba and Steve Snider each with 10.  Kock also grabbed a game-high nine rebounds.  Adrick Hills had 16 to lead the Pilots.  With the win, the men improve to 15-6 on the season.
