1.4.05 - Huntington College sophomore Alex Kock was named the Mid-Central Conference Player of the Week for the week of December 27-January 2.  Kock, a Physical Education and Health major from Auburn, Indiana (DeKalb High School), scored a career-high 35 points in the Foresters’ 84-81 double overtime upset win over NAIA Division II 3rd-ranked Cedarville University.  Kock’s 15 points in the first half helped give Huntington a 38-28 lead at the break, and with :26 left in the second overtime, he scored the Foresters’ final six points, including going 4-4 from the line, to help seal the win.  Through 17 games, Kock leads the team in scoring and rebounding at 18.3 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.
