11.19.04 - The Trinity International University Trojans (3-4) gave the NAIA 3rd-ranked Huntington College (5-2) a scare, but the Foresters hung on for the 75-69 come-from-behind win in the first round game of the Huntington College/Ness Bros. Hall of Fame Classic.  The Trojans had a solid game-plan, using a 1-2-2 zone to keep the Foresters on the perimeter where they were struggling to get shots to drop.  Trinity International took advantage of HC's cold shooting and owned a 19-11 lead eleven minutes into the game, when Huntington finally began to find the range.  The Foresters connected on three consecutive treys, two by Alex Kock and one from Kyle Ganton to take a 22-21 lead.  The rest of the half, neither team could gain more than a three-point advantage and they headed to the locker room with HC up 34-33.  In the second half, Ganton heated up for Huntington scoring 19 of his 24 points to keep the Trojans at bay, including six of six free throws in the final two minutes to seal the win.  Three other Foresters finished in double figures with Steve Snider getting 16, Chase Verba, 15 and Kock, 10.  Leigh Batts led the Trojans with 21 off the bench.  In the opening game of the Classic, Geneva College knocked off Siena Heights University 97-89.  The Foresters will play Geneva in the Championship game tomorrow at 3:00 p.m.
