11.23.04 - It was opening night in the Mid-Central Conference and the Foresters picked up a coveted road win defeating Indiana Wesleyan University 70-63.  HC took a 7-6 lead when Chase Verba hit one of two free throws at the 14:37 mark and gradually built to an 11-point margin at the break.  In the second half, the Foresters owned as much as a 14-point lead at 54-40 midway through the period, but the Wildcats whittled it down to just four on two Brandon McCorkle free throws with 2:37 left to play.  On HC's next possession, Kyle Ganton answered with two of his game-high 21 points and ended Indiana Wesleyan's threat.  Joining Ganton in double figures were Alex Kock, who had 16 points and a game-high eight rebounds, Steve Snider with 12 and Jared Yoder with 11.  Jared Boser led five Wildcats in double figures with 15.  With the win the men improve to 6-3 on the season and are 1-0 in conference play.
