 11.30.04 - Huntington College sophomore, Kyle Ganton, was named the Mid-Central Conference Player of the Week for the week of November 22-28.  Ganton, an Elementary Education major from Coldwater, Michigan (Bronson High School), helped lead the Foresters to a 2-1 week with his 22.7 average during the three games.  In Tuesday’s MCC opener, he went 8-12 from the field including 3-3 from behind the arc to top all scorers with his 21 points in the Foresters’ 70-63 victory over Indiana Wesleyan University.  In Huntington’s 91-81 loss to NCAA Division I IUPUI, Ganton scored all of his 19 points in the second half to lead a charge that helped get the Foresters back in the game.  He concluded the week by scoring a career-high 28 points in Huntington’s 82-63 rout of the Rio Grande Redmen.  He went 8-14 from the field, including 5-7 from downtown, and 7-8 from the line.  He also added seven rebounds and two assists in the game.
