11.30.04 - The 3rd-ranked Foresters defeated 22nd-ranked University of St. Francis 85-69 to remain unbeaten in conference play.  After trailing the Cougars for the first six minutes of the game, the Foresters used a Jared Yoder 3-pointer to key an 11-0 run, giving them a lead they would never lose.  HC built a 30-16 advantage, but St. Francis closed to within 39-31 at the break.  The Cougars continued their charge at the start of the second half quickly narrowing the Foresters' lead to one at 39-38 just a minute and a half into the period.  St. Francis kept the pressure on, but HC remained in the lead.  At the midway point of the half, the Foresters were still clinging to a 50-49 lead when HC's Alex Kock got hot.  After hitting one of two free throws, Kock knocked down three consecutive treys to open up a nine-point Forester lead.  A layup by Seth Lochmueller on HC's next possession gave the Foresters a double digit advantage that they would maintain the rest of the way.  Kock lead all scorers in the game with 27 points on 10-12 shooting from the field and 5-7 from behind the arc.  Yoder hit four from downtown on his way to 16 points off the bench.  Kyle Ganton added 14 and Steve Snider chipped in 12 points and a game-high nine rebounds.  St. Francis was led by Virgil Akers with 16 points and six rebounds.  The win gives the Foresters an 8-4 record overall and a 2-0 mark in the conference.
