11.8.04 - After battling two NCAA Division I opponents, the Foresters had little problem with NAIA Division II Urbana University as they routed the Blue Knights 97-74 in their home opener.  HC's sticky defense limited Urbana to just 28 points in the first half on 28% shooting (9-32), which led to a 17-point Forester advantage at the intermission.  In the second half, the Foresters continued to add to their lead reaching a 27-point margin at 79-52 with seven minutes remaining in the game and cruised to the victory.  HC's Alex Kock led all scorers in the game with 30 points on 11-15 shooting, including 5-7 from behind the arc and 3-4 from the line.  Four of his teammates joined him in double figures with Doug Sheckler netting 18, Steve Snider, 17, Kyle Ganton, 12, and Chase Verba, 11.  Antonio Davis led the Blue Knights with 15 points and six rebounds.  The win brings the men's record even at 1-1 on the season.
