12.11.04 - The Foresters survived a lackluster first half and a feisty St. Francis squad to win 71-65 for their fifth victory in a row.  The Fighting Saints jumped out to a 6-0 lead on two treys and were able to maintain a 3-8 point advantage for the entire half until HC's Kyle Ganton hit a 3-pointer with a 1:05 left to earn the first tie of the game at 29-29.  The two teams traded misses to end the half.  The game remained close six minutes into the second half with HC up 38-37 when the Foresters scored 10 unanswered points to give themselves a little breathing room.  USF responded with a 17-5 run to reclaim the lead at 54-53 with just under six minutes to play.  An Alex Kock layup sandwiched between two Doug Sheckler free throws and a field goal gave the Foresters a 59-54 lead with 3:44 remaining, but the Fighting Saints weren't going away.  USF cut it to two twice including a 67-65 deficit with :15 left on the clock, but Ganton and Sheckler each hit two from the stripe to seal the win.  Kock lead all scorers in the game with 21 points and added eight rebounds.  Sheckler and Ganton each finished with 14 and Steve Snider added 11.  Jon Womack lead the Fighting Saints with 18 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.  With the win, the Foresters move to 11-4 on the season.
